羅省中華會館時間軸 TIMELINE

1971 + 羅省中華會館主辦「第八屆世界華商貿易會議」，五月十七日起一連
舉行五天，經費全部由會館負擔，會議期間共獲得三千多萬美元的交
易訂單。
On May 17, the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association
hosts and sponsors its 8th International Asian Business Trade
Conference in the Biltmore Hotel for 5 days. As a result, the event
collected 300,000 dollars.

1972 + 羅省中華會館為強化組織，修章將董事會改制為理監事會（此前會館
採董事會組織），排除個人會員之規定，以團體會員為單位，按團體
之會員多寡各派一至四人出席理監事會，另由理監事組成中華孔教學
校校董會、中華福地管理委員會、中華會館福僑委員會。
The Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association plans to
strengthen its organization by amending its bylaws and regula-
tions, promoting unity amongst association, electing 4 Board of
Directors, and advising the Board of Supervisors to overlook the
three subcommittees: the Chinese Confucius Temple of Los An-
geles, the Chinese Cemetery of Los Angeles, and the Community
Welfare Council.

1973 + 中華會館修改章程，將轄下之「學務組」改為「校董會」，各由會館
理事會推出十四名、監事會推出七名校董組成，專責僑教。
The Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association decides to
amend its Bylaws, changing the “Study Service Group” committee
to “School Board.” The Board of Supervisors nominate 14 candi-
dates and the Board of Directors nominate 7 candidates to orga-
nize this committee.
+ 南加省開平同鄉會籌備成立。
Hoy Ping Benevolent Association of So. Cal. is established.

1974 + 羅省伍胥山公所成立。
The EngSuey Sun Association is established.

1975 + 羅省中華會館首次舉行慶祝青年節，由四個年輕人組織，東方體育
會、洛杉磯加州大學同學會、南加州中國同學會、愛文成人學校同學
會負責主辦，並推選優秀青年。
For the first time, the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Associa-
tion celebrates Youth Day. The committees, separated into the
Eastern Sports Club, the Los Angeles UC Fellow Students Asso-
ciation, the Southern California Fellow Students Association, and
the Evans Community Adult School, are organized by four young
