Wong Family Benevolent Association welcomed Director General Huang Min Jing of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles for ancestor worship
Director General Huang Min Jing of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles, and Director Chang Hao Chun of Cultural Center and Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles went to the Wong Family Benevolent Association to offer incense at noon on September 12 (Saturday). Ancient sacrifice rituals were offered to the ancestors. Wong Jing Bin, the senior advisor of the National Wong Family Benevolent Association read the ancestor rules as well as welcomed Director General Huang Min Jing becoming a member of the Wong Family Benevolent Association. The atmosphere is grand and warm.
Director General Huang Min Jing said that today was warm and emotional as if returning home, especially when he read the words of the ancestors' legacy. The Wong Family Benevolent Association is full of great number of competent people. General Wong Xing, the head of the Wong clan who established the Republic of China, must have hoped that the future Wong generations will support the democracy of the Republic of China. Director General Huang Min Jing specifically prepared a national flag scarf as a gift and presented to the Wong Family Benevolent Association. He also reminded everyone to wear a mask and wash hands frequently to maintain the health guidelines during this new Coronavirus pandemic.
Director Chang Hao Chun expressed closeness and
cordial when he came to the Wong Family Benevolent Association. The dedication serving
the Overseas Chinese community and persistent support of the Republic of China by
Wong Family Benevolent Association senior advisor Wong Jin Quan during his
lifetime remained vivid. It is hoped that the Wong Family Benevolent
Association will continue to support the democracy of the Republic of China and
work together with the Cultural Center and Taipei Economic and Cultural Office
in Los Angeles to provide quality services for the overseas Chinese.
