Lung Kong Tin Yee Association recently held the 2023 ancestor worship with more than 100 people attending the lunchtime ceremony. Participants included Taipei Economics and Cultural Office in Los Angeles Director General Amino Chi and Deputy Director General Leonid Chang, Cultural Center of Taipei Economics and Cultural Office in Los Angeles Director Ben Chen, Deputy Directors Ruthie Cheng and Cindy Liu, and CCBA President Ernest Lee. US Congresswoman Judy Chu and Arcadia City Council member Eileen Wang attended the spring banquet dinner with nearly 500 people in attendance.

In addition to the clansmen with four surnames of Liu, Guan, Zhang, Zhao in Los Angeles, there are other clansmen included America Lung Kong Association President Guan Taihe, Inspector General Zhang Weijie, San Francisco Lung Kong Association President Liu Ziyang and Vice Presidents Guan Rongyan and Zhang Silin, America Lung Kong Association Headquarter President Zhao Lun, Jilu Director Liu Zhaokang and other clan relatives attending the grand meeting. In accordance with traditional customs, President Liu Wenxin held an ancestor worship ceremony with staff and guests.

Taipei Economics and Cultural Office in Los Angeles Director General Amino Chi said that he felt honored to participate in the spring ancestor worship at the Lung Kong Tin Yee Association for the first time. "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" is one of his favorite novels, among which "Oath of the Peach Garden" is the most talked-about historical story, with the loyalty and benevolent spirit of the ancestors surnamed Liu, Guan, Zhang and Zhao whom are especially admired by the future generations. He said that Lung Kong Tin Yee Association has a long history. It adheres to the loyalty, unites the overseas Chinese communities, firmly supports Taiwan, and believes in the values of freedom and democracy. He issued a congratulatory certificate to President Liu Wenxin, Vice Presidents Guan Huazheng, William Cheung and Zhao Guanyuan, and wished for more unity and prosperity under their leadership.

President Liu Wenxin thanked the clan relatives and leaders of the overseas Chinese community from all over America for their participation and support. He devoted his effort in serving the clan and overseas Chinese community. The Lung Kong Tin Yee Association Lion Troupe showcased their martial arts skills by performing “Making a Pact of Brotherhood” which won applause from the audience.

US Congresswoman Judy Chu said in her dinner speech that she felt much honored to be part of Lung Kong Tin Yee Association, which hung photos of ancestors and her parents. She felt very cordial and felt at home every time she goes to Lung Kong Tin Yee Association.

Arcadia City Council member Eileen Wang said that Lung Kong Tin Yee Association is rich in talents, and it is of great significance to inherit Chinese culture. She presented certificates of commendation to President Liu Wenxin, Director Zhao Jianjun, and Women's Department Director Zhao Meichang. She congratulated for their leadership.
