Advisor Liang Yongtai was awarded the Professional Medal for Overseas Chinese Affairs

On the September 1st morning, Cultural Center of Taipei Economics and Cultural Office in Los Angeles hosted the overseas Chinese affairs Professional Medal ceremony. Chairman of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission Tong Zhenyuan personally presented the certificate and medal.

Liang Yongtai has served the overseas Chinese community for more than 30 years. Since CCBA established for 130th year, he is the first Vietnamese-Cambodian president. Liang Yongtai and the New Overseas Chinese, the US Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos Chinese groups and Hanwha are well interacted; always care about the rights and interest for the Chinese community and promote ethnic harmony. At the same time, it is not easy to adhere to the traditional overseas Chinese community's position of supporting the Republic of China, flying the flag of the Republic of China in the hall and supporting democratic freedoms. He maintains good friendship with various overseas Chinese groups and is a very respected and beloved overseas Chinese leader.
