Overseas Chinese Associations lays wreath flowers to commemorate the birthday of the founding father

CCBA and the Southern California Overseas Chinese Associations commemorating the birthday of Sun Yat-sen was held on November 12th in front of Sun Yat-sen bronze statue. The event started with singing of the American national anthem and the Republic of China national anthem. CCBA President Mei Wah Lau, Vice President Ernest Lee, Supervisor Chairman Andrew Kwong, Supervisor Vice Chairwoman Cai Huiling, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles Deputy Director Lin Huicheng, and Culture Center of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles Director Zhang Haojun offered flower wreath to the bronze statue of the founding father with three bows ceremony. This followed by the overseas Chinese delegations paying tribute to the bronze statue of the founding father. The ceremony was solemn and grand.

This year coincides with the 154-year-old birthday of Sun Yat-sen, the National Father of the Republic of China. CCBA and the Southern California Overseas Chinese held a flower wreath ceremony to commemorate the birthday of Sun Yat-sen. He had visited Los Angeles four times and received strong assistance from the overseas Chinese. Overseas Chinese have persisted in practicing the concept of freedom and democracy of the founding father, supporting Taiwan of the Republic of China, and safeguarding the hard-won freedom and democracy. The event ended successfully with the singing of the commemorative song of the founding father.
